How to find us

New Hope Baptist Church is on Highway 377 one mile north of Highway 380.

If you are coming from Denton,

just go East on Highway 380 (University Drive) until you see the exit for Highway 377.  Take the exit and you will find New Hope on your right just one mile up the road.

If you are coming from Providence, Savannah, Little Elm or other locations to our east,

find your way to Highway 380 and go west toward Denton.

Take the exit for Highway 377 as if you were going to Pilot Point but don't go to Pilot Point because

we're just one mile up the road on the right side.

If you are coming from some place to our north, like Aubrey, Pilot Point or Kansas,

just take Highway 377 to the south.

Before you get to Highway 380, you will see us on the left.

Our physical address is 5800 Hwy 377 South, Aubrey, TX 76227.

Our beliefs

We believe that the life God wants us to have is found only in a relationship of faith in Jesus Christ.  Only in Jesus can we experience the forgiveness of our past, the empowerment for our present, and the hope for our future.  For a more detailed expression of our faith you can click HERE to download a copy of the Baptist Faith and Message.

  • the bible

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and inerrant Word.  It is both timeless and timely so it is relevant and trustworthy for the specific problems of today's living.

  • the family

We believe that loving relationships are important for a balanced and healthy life. Because the home is the training ground for those relationships, we are committed to support, encourage, and cultivate healthy relationships within the home and within the church family.

  • the spiritual life

We believe that a healthy and balanced life is the result of a life that is led and nurtured by the Holy Spirit of God.  So we are committed to spiritual disciplines like prayer, bible study, service, and worship.

our story

In the early part of 1878, Rev. R.L. Borum began having bible studies with 6 women in a little log schoolhouse south of Aubrey on New Hope Road.  And now, 140 years later, New Hope is still loving on people in the name of Jesus.

Because we're still doing those bible studies, we've learned that God has called us to join Him in loving the people of the world. In recent years, New Hope has taken the love of Jesus to people in Taiwan, Belarus, Costa Rica, and several locations within the United States.

And with our new Family Life Center, we're able now to provide many more ministries for those who live right here in northeast Denton County.  As we serve our Lord, we keep writing our story.  We'd love for you to come and be a part of it with us!
